The term "tpot" started being used in late 2022, and Richard D. Bartlett offered this definition in January 2023. Since then, "tpot" has been claimed by all kinds of folks on Twitter—including some decidedly non-sweetheart types. We use "Teapot" to signal we mean Richard's original definition: the kind, curious, hyper-tolerant sweethearts—not the newer crowd of unempathetic folks who also call themselves tpot.
